Happy Saturday

Well today was a great day for me. I got to sleep in a bit, and had plans to go see the Kings play the Blackhawks at 1pm. I had some breakfast, nice and relaxing, hanging out with my parents and kathy before the game. Then Kathy and I took the subway to Staples Center. Now, LA doesn't have a great mass transit system here, but what we do have isn't too bad. At least there is some form of it by where i live. I've been on the subways here, and it's not bad, just like the subways of other cities, but alot less crowded, since not too many people know about it or use it. Plus the other advantage of taking the subway to the game is to save 20 bucks on parking and not have to deal with the horrible traffic going on by Staples Center. They are developing a brand new entertainment complex by it, called LA Live. It should be pretty cool when it's done, but the havoc it's causing right now in the area for parking and traffic isn't fun.

It's been my first game at Staples in awhile, and decided to treat myself for my hard work at my new job with buying a sweet new practice jersey as pictured. What made the day perfect was that the Kings won 5-4 in OT, their first win in their last 8 games. I'd like to think that they won since this was the first game I actually got to see in the past 10, but that's just me being vain. Tonight I'm just takin it easy and relaxing. Tomorrow will be my Sunday visit to Church to thank God for all that he has blessed me with in my life. This will be my last week of school, and when it's all said and done, I will write about that and how it has changed me for the best in so many ways. Also, my hectic schedule finally lets up after this week, so I will have more time to blog and check out all of your sites as well. I do miss reading everyone's blogs everyday, and look forward to doing that again. I hope all of you out there have a good weekend and a good week upcoming.

Wow, I can't believe that you only have one week of school left. The last month flew by. That new jersey looks pretty sweet! :)
